I received exciting news this morning. It’s always nice to start off the day with something positive!
A fellow blogger, Ms. Teri, recently emailed me and told me that LaChance Publishing was asking for submissions for their upcoming book, Voices of Bipolar Disorder. The deadline for submissions was only a few days away, so I quickly pounded out my story and sent it to the senior editor.
That was on May 14. I fully expected that it would be months before they contacted me to let me know if it was accepted or declined. I received an email from LaChance Publishing this morning and they informed me that my story will be included in the book, which will be published in late 2009. I am so excited!
Taken from the LaChance Publishing website:
“…the Voices Of Series delivers inspiration, courage, and vital information to those facing life-threatening or chronic illness.”
“100% of the profits from the sale of the Voices Of book series are donated to The Healing Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing information and support to those challenged by Alzheimer’s disease, autism, breast cancer, alcoholism and other illness.”

Diabetes
Financial (Back From Zero)

Less than a week ago, I was contacted by a reporter for Health magazine informing me that my blog will be mentioned in an upcoming section that will list the best blogs and online resources concerning bipolar disorder.
Aside from the bout with psychosis, it has been a really good week!
